 Bailey James grew up as an only child in a small Rhode Island town. Her father was a self made success story. He jump started his own nursing home business that thrives to this day thanks to his charismatic personality. When she was 12 years old her best friend in the world, Johnny, passed away after he was hit by a car. He had been riding his bike at night. Without a helmet. She decided the first day for her to get drunk would be the day of his funeral. Needless to say she wasn't allowed to attend. That's something she regrets to this day, but it's surely not something she ever talks about. To anybody. In the midst of all this her parents were going through a divorce and when her father decided to take up permanent residence in Ocean Pines, Bailey jumped at the chance to go with him (much to her mother's dismay). She needed to get away from that tiny town she grew up in and all the tainted memories that came with it. She's 16 now. A good ole fashion eye rollin and attitude wearing teenager. When her father remarried she kept her arms firmly crossed during the entire ceremony. She even attempted to cook up a scheme to get her mother down before the I Do's to stop the madness and set the world right again but she had no luck. She was stuck with a new set of 'family' members. Her mother hoped maybe this would be enough to send Bailey back to her, but nothing could force her back to Rhode Island. Nothing. She enjoys a good party and living on the more 'dangerous' side but to this day she hasn't found someone else to call a best friend. She doesn't like getting too close to any of her peers. She'll party with them, but she'll be damned if she invites anyone to her house for a sleepover.
